The bend pulley, also known as the guide pulley, is often used in belt conveyors, and is composed of a spindle rolling bearing and a bearing chamber. It is mainly installed under the movement of the conveyor and belt, and is a key component in the operation of the conveyor. It is mainly used to change the running direction of the conveyor belt or compress the conveyor belt to increase the wrapping angle with the transmission roller.
Unlike the transmission roller, the main function of the bend roller is to change the direction of the conveyor belt. Change the direction of the belt from one direction to another.
For the bend roller, the difference with the head pulley is mainly that: the bend pulley is mainly used to change the running direction of the conveyor belt, in addition, the bend pulley can compress the conveyor belt, which can increase the rubber encapsulation between it and the transmission roller. Due to the slippage between the tape and the driving pulley, it will cause the tape to wear, and in serious cases, the tape will burn out, and even fire accidents will occur. Therefore, adding a bend pulley near the drive pulley can effectively prevent the occurrence of slippage.
